What is the “UN Convention on Rights of Person with Disabilities”?
UK Government ratified this convention on 8 June 2009, which gives protection to Deaf and Disabled people of their human rights. This course will help you to understand the principles of the Convention and the legal systems surrounding it. This would lead to work on a campaign, to demonstrate to the statutory organisations the need to work on their policies and procedures, to comply with the Convention.
